Growing Fast

Puppies are 3 weeks old tomorrow, time has gone fast!   They are growing like mad, and ready to start on solid food.  Eyes are open and they are starting to play with each other, and with us.  The fun part is starting! We did first stacking pics of the big five at age 2 1/2 weeks:

New Year, New Life

We've done it! Finally overcame Copper's fertility issues and were blessed with a litter of 8 on December 27th. Four colored (3b,1d) and four white (3b,1d). Sadly, the littlest colored girl had a cleft palate and did not survive, but the other 7 are doing well.




I'm very excited to have two colored bitches to watch closely for our next generation at Envoy.

Starting 2012, and News!

We had a great start to 2012, all the way down in Hobbs, New Mexico. Copper was BOV and Group 3 both days, first under Jon Cole, and then James Fredericksen. Pictures coming soon! ...or try the link below

Next up is Denver. Olive will be in Juniors with Melissa all four days, Feb. 17-20th. I will be showing Olive in conformation on Sunday only.

Copper is entered on Sunday and Monday, however, she has come in season a month early and we have a little something brewing....stay tuned for details!! Suffice it to say she will NOT be at the dog show this weekend.

Another Year Gone By

I can't believe the end of 2011 is in sight! Didn't get to do as many shows as we'd hoped, but had some success at the ones we did. Olive finished her Championship in September by going Best Of Variety at the MHBTC supported entry under breeder judge Bob Myall. I'd post the photo, but the never sent it, so you can see this blurry cell pic instead:



Copper started the year at the 4 day Denver cluster, going BOV all 4 days! She didn't have any luck in the group until October when she went Group 2 under Jon Cole, and the following day Group 4 under Mrs. Kniola:





On August 25th, we lost our Ivy, Ch. Lionheart's Right As Rain, at the age of 13. Nothing can ever replace my sweetest girl. I miss her terribly. It is true, they are never with us long enough.




I'm looking forward to 2012, as I have very exciting plans for breeding Copper! I'll update when things are a go, sometime in March!

I Suck at Blogging

I read several blogs, on all kinds of subjects...dogs, food, family. I just forget that I have one too! That's the Facebook effect, I think; Post a snippet and photo on FB and everyone knows what we're doing. Blogging takes time, and with 6 dogs, 4 kids, and a husband to look after, my free time is somewhat limited!
So I'll try and update with a few newer pics.

Copper

So it's been awhile...

I haven't updated in almost a year! That's what Facebook does for you. Here's a few pictures from this year.
Copper is now a Champion! She finished in April under judge Joe Walton. NO specialty shows yet; we arrived at the Rocky Mountain All Terrier Club show in September, looking forward to available ROM points, and found out there was a SLIGHT error on my entry form, and we weren't entered all weekend!! We'll get out next year to some supported shows for sure!








Copper is still on her daily exercise regimen...all that's required is an empty water bucket!
